Weekend Gaming Fun - Double XP/Events/etc. 1/16/2015

There are a couple of things going on this weekend in the world of gaming. If I have missed anything. feel free to share it with us via comments!

Game: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
System: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam
Reward: Bragging rights, camaraderie, entertainment
Clan Wars starts at noon PST and runs until Monday at noon. Nothing special to set up. Just be in a clan's roster*, play and win matches in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. 

Game: Dragon Age: Inquisition
System: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Origins
Reward: Commendation Chests (2)
Weekend event is available via the multiplayer. Challenges are Maul Mastery (defeat 100 enemies with a Maul) and Sword Mastery (defeat 100 enemies with a Sword). Go to Multiplayer > Prestige > Challenges > Weekend Event for more info.

Game: Destiny
System: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
Reward: Xur stuffs
Xur is out and about and has the following items for you to buy:
The Glasshouse (Exotic Titan helmet)y @ 13 SC; Achlyophage Symbiote (Exotic Hunter helmet) @ 13 SC; Obsidian Mind (Exotic Warlock helmet) @ 13 SC; Ice Breaker (Exotic sniper rifle) @ 17 SC and Exotic Shard @ 7SC.

Xur is offering the following upgrades as well this weekend:
Armor – Achl Symbiote, Lucky Raspberry, Crest of Alpha Lupi, No Backup Plans, Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Light Beyond Nemesis.
Weapons – Bad Juju, The Last Word, Plan C, Pocket Infinity, Thunderlord, Gjallarhorn.

I'll be taking back Destiny like any woman that takes back an ex-boyfriend this weekend. My anger subsided from the great disappointment in the Iron Banner Tournament last month. They so lied...rewards were not Raid-Equivalent. Luckily for Bungie, I'm too frugal to not play a game I own.

Also, I will be doing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the mornings. I prefer to avoid the crowds...we will stick with that. And of course on Sunday I will be doing my usual ritual and knocking out Dragon Age: Inquisition with my brother. Readers are welcome to join in!
