I played this game in 1986. Yes. You read that right. 19, 86. Say that out loud. 1986. That is 32 years ago. Back in Ye Ol Gaming Days. When Ubisoft was actually Ubi Soft. Oh, the days of 8 bit life. I do not miss ye.
Fear not, this is much improved from the state of the art graphics of 1986. This is a porting from the 2012 porting to Wii. Not sure why Ubisoft decided to go with Wii to port this iconic game originally. But....let's all forgive Ubisoft and just know this is a really great game!
The controls are a bit clunky and feel as if you are steering a battleship instead of a human surviving in London. In the feel of Left for Dead, it's fun! But, it's not a platformer. It's a marvelous first-person survival instead! Yay! No more platformers!!
Be warned, it's not a stellar game. And, honestly, after playing it, the only thing I found left-over from the 1986 version is the name and the glitchyness.
Oh and for those of you all excited to co-op it like the Ye Ol Gaming Days, nope. Ubisoft decided that this game should no longer be played together with your friends. Personally, I was so disappointed chocolate had to get involved.
Download it and Silent Hill your gaming room to enjoy some Zombi fun! What are you waiting for? Go. Now. Enjoy the cricket bashing zombi fun!

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III

Another PC ported game from the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series several years old. It's age does show. In addition, as a gamer that is, well, older, I'm not fond of top down gaming. This is top down gaming. Not sure why they chose to use this antiquated method of playing, but, you have it.
A redeeming factor to this game is that you can co-op the story! I love the ability of co-oping story/games.
